Access! My first and foremost goal is to get technology accessible to students. They need to have multiple opportunities throughout the day to see how tech can be infused in all we do. Using QR codes to self check, recording familiar readings for fluency, using social modeling to help students As of now, our devices are shared across the building and aren't as personalized as I would like them to be.
With the multi-age setting, there is a VAST skill range. So, personalizing learning can be a challenge. As a building, we have begun to examine our MAP data and it really helped me to identify areas of opportunity within my teaching and student need. Access to devices with personalization software will be key into helping meet all needs of all learners on both ends of the learning continuum.
