One possible hiccup with wireless projecting is that another person using the same program can bump you off and take over projecting. Epson also has a mobile app that allows the user to connect to a projector and share pictures, videos, files, and webpages. Someone using this mobile app can also interrupt the wireless projection and bump off the presenter. The app also has the functions of a remote so, once connected, it is possible to shut down a projector from the app.
Since having others interrupt your presentation or shut down the projector is not conducive to quality learning, there are two ways to prevent that from happening.
1 - Don't post your projectors IP address on the wall or whiteboard.
Even if you are using the VGA cable to project, someone could connect to the projector with the mobile app and kick you off or shut it down. So keep your IP address out of public view!
2 - When you are connecting to the projector from your laptop, make sure to mark the checkbox beside "Disable interrupt connection."
This should keep your presentation interruption free.
