Yes, this is something that I have said more than once to my nine year old but in this case, I am spotlighting a new feature that Microsoft has rolled out in their Office products.
Now, when you are working on a shared document that is stored in OneDrive for Business or on a DMPS Sharepoint site, you are able to chat in real-time with your collaborators with just the click of a button. The chat conversation will display in a sidebar in the same browser window where you are editing your document. A key point to remember is that all collaborators need to be editing in the online version of Office, not in the full client version of the program. (That just means you have to click "Edit in Browser" instead of "Edit in Word")

I can already see how this could be very convenient for teams, departments, PLC's, etc. Maybe it will even save a few people a drive to meet with someone face-to-face, instead they can just collaborate and chat digitally.
