My instructional challenge is to ensure their learning is differentiated and meeting their academic needs in math. I want to be able to pull data to clearly outline where each student is working, what are their areas of success and what do they need to be more successful. While the true hope is to be on top of learning in every subject, I am focusing my trailblazing journey on math. By having students learning at their level I am anticipating every student to increase engagement throughout our math block.
By adding new math software, I will be able to adjust my math block structure from a three station rotation with a larger whole group time to a four station rotation and a shorter whole group time. The smaller group sizes will allow me to pull lessons that go with our core as well as differentiated lessons based on the data pulled from the new software introduced to my students.
