I am creating an environment where students can demonstrate their knowledge on an individual level and where they can practice reflecting on their work and monitor their growth. this makes monitoring students closely and individually difficult. Most music assessments and activities are done in the context of whole class instruction and group experiences in the moment. technology allows me to a better monitor of student progress. Because students are activity involved in creating their own examples of what they know they take more ownership int their individual performance.
Step 1: Set up Seesaw accounts
Step 2: Create assignments and tasks in Seesaw
Step 3: teach students to add their own evidence, and how Seesaw works
Step 4: Involve student in signing in on their own
Step 5: Teaching students how to reflect on their work that has already been submitted
Step 6: Create more meaningful and differentiated projects for students on Explain Everything and SeeSaw
Step 7: Develop recording centers that improve quality of student recording.
